My grown up Christmas List!

Jeremy keeps asking me what I want for Christmas. I haven't been very helpful with my wishy washy answers, so here ya go darling. Something concrete, although probably not as helpful as you'd like!

#1 I would love to find out the gender of our baby by Christmas!
Call your people and lets make that happen!

#2 I wish that Eian would actually get into opening his presents and get excited Christmas morning!

#3 Something concrete??? Hmm I have always liked the Mother's Jewelry. I think It would be pretty to get all of our birthstones (Jeremy, mine, Eian's, and new baby's) set into a necklace. All of the colors are different so it would be pretty and colorful... P.S. Jeremy if you are going to attempt this, contact Rada or Brent for pointers! :)

#4 It would be so nice to put this baby weight gain to a stop...I know it's necessary, but it isn't fun!

#5 I can't believe I didn't put this first! But I would certainly love for Santa to bring me an acceptance letter from the law school of my choice!

#6 I just wish for just a day that I had my old, spitfire, ni ni back and that she wouldn't be in constant pain.

#7 Tickets to Kathy Griffin's show in Tulsa in January followed by a trip to Paula Deens restaurant....ahhh fat girl heaven! Wait dosen't that contradict #4???

#8 A massage from Mike at Chrysalis. Nuff said.

#9 To see my grandpa lay an old hollywood style kiss on my grandmother like he used to when I was a kid.

#10 Lastly, I just want to be with my family on Christmas, have a good meal, and a decent nights sleep!

Oh Christmas Tree... oh Christmas Tree...How you drive me crazy!

Ok, so it's that time of year again, and this will be our first Christmas in the new house so you know we are going to do it big. I will expecially go overboard with the decor and food... whats new? Jeremy refuses to let me do anything Christmas wise until the day after Thanksgiving. :( I know, rude isnt it.... anyways here are my ideas for a fantastic Christmas decoring experience. :D

Decor wise, I'm definately going to go overboard with a huge fantabulous wreath! Here are a couple of my inspiration pictures.

Of course I'll be putting my own Ladonics on these to make them my own. Now on to the table settings....

I love love love Christmas! Have I mentioned that??? I'll post at a later date with my actual decor photos! Love you guys. Tootles until later!

If it ain't Baroque, fix it.

Ok, so I'm finding myself completely without suitable clothing. I'm literally down to my gym clothes and jammies. Whoever said that maternity clothes are optional are full of it. So, if there is such a thing as pregnant chic I'm going to master it. And hopefully find a few things I can even wear after! I've done a little bit of research and this is what I've come up with. The only downside is that most places like Old Navy and Gap only carry maternity online. So getting the right size can be a guessing game.
So here is what I've found....

Pair with leggings, flats and hoops. Finito!
Victoria's Secret $59.50

Crochet trim Super cute and feminine. Perfect for exotic girls.
Gap Maternity $49.50

Denim utility tunic. LOVE THIS!
Gap Maternity $49.50

Delish Dolman sleeve sweater
Gap Maternity $54.50

Of course the classic back- tie crossover is a must for day to day.
Old Navy Maternity $25.95

I can't do without my gym jammies! I love love love Victoria's secret Pink sets.
Victoria's secret $89.90 for hoodie $29.99 for matching pants

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.....at least I think thats how it goes....

For the past 3 weeks I have been attending a intensive LSAT prep course in Little Rock that has taken up quite a bit of my time. After the 4th class I began questioning myself, asking "Why am I doing this"? "Is this really truly what I want to do with my life"? I honestly had to take a day to think and reevaluate things. There is alot of money, time, and energy at stake, I had better be darn sure I'm not wasting any of it.

Upon hearing about my doubtful revelation, Jeremy promptly pushed me out the door saying,
"You need time to think". So here I am, keys in hand and sitting in the car. I don't even know what "alone time" is anymore. I could not for the life of me figure out what to do. I began driving and ended up at the gym... lol yes I know, but I needed to get in my workout anyway.
So I hopped on the elliptical hoping to come to some sort of a epiphany while blasting Rihanna in my ear. And who walks in? The very person who has mentored me in everything according to law thus far. Now that is fate!!!

He is a very busy attorney, so we don't get to speak as often as we would like. It's one of those "tag-your-it" friendships. But I have always regarded him as a father- figure type. And he truly is one of the most brilliant men I've ever met.

So...back to the story. He sees me and hops on the elliptical beside me with a casual "Hi Jeanny, why don't you ever clean out your voicemail"? I give a slight grin and make some candid remark about how that is the pot calling the kettle black.... over the next 45 minutes we proceed to have a very insightful yet casual conversation about my possible career in law while remarking how ridiculous Fox news has become.

After bidding him goodbye, I walk back out to my car and drive back home. I have come to the conclusion that it IS worth it. If I can have the same impact on someone else that my mentor has had on me, that alone would be enough. I'm not really sure what made me have a momentary change of heart....I guess maybe I had a moment of laziness? Self-doubt? I'm really not sure. But I do know that anything worth having is worth working hard for.

Honestly, up until now. I have only been 70% into it. Now that I have made my mind up I'm in it 110%. I have decided to make a couple of changes to ensure successful admission. One of them being my LSAT test date. I had originally set my test date for October the 9th. I have now extended it for the December testing. By changing this I will be allowing myself more time to be adequately prepared.

Anyone that knows me well knows how uncompromising I can be....in this case that trait will be most benefiting....

Until next time my loves, wish me luck......

Hello Baylor Law, I hope you are ready for me.

Operation- Healthy Me!

As most of you know I am in recovery from a recent back surgery. Along with the typical aches and pains I have also gained about 17 pounds. I know, right. It's rediculous. I would like to blame it on the steroids or even the baby, but frankly there is no excuse. NONE. That may not sound like much, but on someone who is 5 ft tall....trust me it's not cute.

Vanity aside, I want to be healthy. My absolute best! So I'm ready to develop a gameplan. My cardio level is acceptable to start P90x.(barely lol)but I don't think I'm ready for Insanity. As of right now Im doing around 45-55 minutes of cardio a day along with a 1200 calorie diet. It is BARELY peeling off. So it's time to take it up a notch.

First, I will be doing a week long detox. My detox of choice is known as the Master Cleanse. This is a excellent way to clense the colon and begin healthy eating.

Second, I will be restricting my caloric intake to 800 calories a day after I complete the Master Cleanse.

Third, I will bump up my daily cardio to 90 minutesfor around two weeks until my body adjusts through the cleanse and new eating habits.

And lastly, Once restricted eating has become second nature and energy returns to normal I will begin P90x.

Anyone that knows me knows how stubborn and determined I am. Stay tuned for the results...

Mommy is back!

So I quickly made the decision to become a stay at home mommy again. Doing this has left me with tons of time on my hands and given me the time to pay attention to things I truly care about. My family, my health, my house, and all of my fun hobbies! So I have started working on Eians baby book that I still haven't completed. Here are a couple of the layouts I am considering using for a couple of the pages.

And the winner is.......... PRIUS

I don't know if it was the 50 mpg that got us or the "go go gadget mobile" vibe of this car. But it won the race. We test drove one today and will be going back this week to close the deal. The exterior is "space carish" as well as the inside. It features a backup camera, internal mileage monitor with flat touch screen with navigation, really I could go on and on... but basically this car is smart! Too smart!

We chose cloth interior, obviously because of our kiddo. But the exterior is still being tossing around. I am forever a fan of black cars but its Jeremys car, so he is gonna make that call....He's liking the electric blue.. yeah.. I said Electric blue.

Anyways so if you aren't laughing yet...Here's the final piece of the puzzle.
I drive a gas guzzling, v8, huge SUV... Jer will be in what is the most fuel efficient, eco friendly car on the market right now..

Yes, Yet again, Jer and I completely balance each other out~
:)

Until next time my lovies

Thinking Hybrid!!!

So the time has come for a new car. Lately Jer and I have been traveling alot out of state and hopefully we will continue... therefore we have been considering going hybrid.

41 miles and up per gallon sounds awfully appealing! And if you guys know me, you know I'm all about saving a buck.

So the cars up for consideration are the Ford Fusion Hybrid, Lexus Hs250, Kia Soul, Toyota Prius, Or the Honda Insight.....

The seach is on....TBC!

Go Team Edward!

Ok, so yes. I realize that I am a total teenybopper for liking this series. But I managed to drag the hubby out last night for the midnight premiere of Eclipse in tinseltown. First of all it was packed! I mean sold out. Luckily I had fandangoed it 2 weeks in advance....yes Im that obsessed! The anticipation was killing me trying to find our seats and get settled.

So let me just back up for a minute and preface all of this by saying that I told myself that I was not going to get caught up in the twilight bubble...well so much for that! I have got the fever...and honey his name is Edward!!

I am loving the underlying tension in this movie. The unwaivering desire Edward has for Bella enthralls me. I also can't help but get caught up in how fiercely he fights for her and how adamant he protects her, even if it means self-sacrifice. Apparently Edward has learned a thing or two in his 100 years of learning how to love.

So we know that Bella keeps begging Edward to change her. But I wonder will Edward still desire her after she is no longer human? After all, was it not her scent, her warm body, and vulnerability that drew him to her in the first place? Her calling card is her innocent sense of wonder and likelyhood of becoming a victim.

My question is this....If Edward turns Bella, will he desire her still?
